Meh. There were 5-ish people using my 5-person Netflix account. Probably never more than 5 people at one time, anyway. They all either lived in my house at some point, or my spouse lived in their house. IDK if or how they are watching Netflix now, but I suspect they’re not watching. And I cut my subscription back to

I like 928s very much, but mine needs to be a manual. I prefer the older rear fascia and the subtle lip spoiler, but I also prefer more power. When I hit the lotto I’ll get a 928 and do naughty update/backdate things to it...

Drugs in the cab...  So the truck was carrying more than one kind of brick?

That MGB swap looks really tidy! Ditch the stereo, digital gauges and shift knob and you’d start to really have something. I’m a fan of wire wheels on MG’s, but for this I’d have to have Mini-lites or something resembling Dunlop disc wheels.

Erin, is it OK if I love you for taking me out of the grays?  Not in a creepy way...

I guess my link got kinja’d, but an easy Google will get that result and more.

Apparently you and some other folks smarter than I am have given this more thought than I have.

It may be a real feat of engineering and a fantastic car, but I’d rather have 1/3 the power and leave the Ferrari engine in it. But it’s not mine and I don’t have a Ferrari, so what I think doesn’t matter.

I think this is great. It’d probably violate the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution here, although our unequal justice system violates it quietly every day already - in _favor_ of the rich, rather than the other way aroundI’m not rich, but I bet my income would net me a much bigger fine for speeding than

I could drive to this Pizza Hut in about an hour. Add some time to park and walk, or more time to do the whole train thing, then god knows how many hours waiting in line, then eat it in the car or on a park bench... I’d love to try this, but not that much.

LOL, did Washingtonian really add an extra “s” at the end of Clarence’s last name in the url? Way to throw shade!

If this is the kind of thing you like, this is just the thing for you!  Not for me in a million years, but NP for someone.

You had a 3800, right? I bought a 96 Lumina 9C3 for my wife, which had the 3100. Still worked great. Bought it with 36K, ran it to 96K (which took my wife less than 2 years). The only repair it needed was an IAC valve. She HATED that car! It was a patrol car, formerly white and green, with a shitty silver paint job.

For seven and a half bucks, I’m sure those inspectors are going through the car with a fine-toothed comb. Last time I lived in NY (about to be living there again), iirc it was $20.

They ought to sue those TikTok assholes too.

Never”? I am not likely to say “Never.” Some shit cars became good, some good cars squandered their reputations. Are we talking used cars or new? Like most sensible people with at least one functioning eye, I despise current BMW styling. Not much could make me buy a recent BMW.

Why am I the only person to give you a star??  Oh, maybe because it’s only been 9 minutes since you said this.  Still, one of the most sensible answers this question is likely to get.

I had a similar issue in my youth. At this particular bank, they would not serve a bicyclist at the drive-thru window.  Unfortunately, I didn’t have a friend with a shopping cart nearby.

At least they’re not using bears!

Steve’s BMW had 670 miles.  The one for sale has almost 5000.
