My answer for a non-enthusiast to “What car should I buy,” whether “cheap” is in the question or not, is “Go to the Toyota dealer and pick out whatever suits you.” Or the Lexus dealer, for the higher-end questioner.

I take exception to the “cop cosplayer” allegations. Sure, some buyers will be cosplayers, but I like a big V8 RWD American sedan, and cop cars are a good way to get a lot of hardware at a good price. I just like the cars, I have no desire to pretend I’m a cop.

I can’t address what other folks do with their free bread, but rest assured, at my table the basket goes back empty. At the right place, I would absolutely pay $15 for a bread course. I can think of two places that I’ve asked to buy a loaf to go! (yes, they sold it to me, and it was a lot less than $15)

My father-in-law, who is 80, often requests a glass of ice water, several lemon wedges, and sugar at restaurants.  Sometimes the server tells him that lemonade is a menu item and he should just order one.

I’d like to see BMW come up with a cruiser that looks good without aping HD, and IIRC, IMO, they haven’t.  But this time it looks like they did a damn good job of aping a HD, which many others have tried and failed.  I think a BMW opposed twin needs to always have quiet mufflers, though.
