Both of my parent’s, not at all reliable, 3800 Series II V6 engines, suffered major failures over their 100,000 mile time with them (they are very old, they don’t drive hard, and they maintain their cars). Maybe reliable by American car standards, but total garbage by Japanese car standards.

Except the Toyota, bullet proof reliability. Actually an excellent car, doesn’t belong on the list, but is, because Americans are stupid.
