Can’t wait for everyone to tell us she’s too fat to be famous.
One to block three...seems reasonable. Snap.
Who is getting shit from whom? Average joes? Hell, even beat reporters think the Patriots not fucking up defensively is somehow a sign of Belichick’s genius. Every team from D3 through D1 and in the NFL has rules for this situation. Basic coaching.
I don’t want to open up the Pandora’s Box of Gender, but it feels like that’s where this is heading.
There are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of people who get masters degrees and PhD’s without crying.
I don’t give a fuck about your past experiences or the fact that YOU can’t handle yourself in a professional environment. Grow up and learn how to handle yourself as an adult.
You’re a delightful person.
Oh don’t get me wrong, I see unprofessional behavior all the time. I don’t, however, see people walking to a conference room and kicking things then drowning their sorrows in alcohol while on the job, which is without a doubt a common trend in these Kitchenette pieces. Maybe if I frequented askamanager.com or some…
You’ve got some stuff going on you should probably talk to someone about. Getting this angry about what someone else said online in reference to someone who isn’t you is pretty unhealthy. I now see why you cry at work and can’t fathom why other people don’t.
What in the fuck does a post-grad education have to do with crying? I have a post grad-degree as well as numerous professional certifications. Not once has a project or study partner cried.
Because the stories are amusing?
I don’t deem any job to be more or less important than any other. My mention of “importance” in a previous thread was in relation to the situation in the grand scheme of the job, not the job itself.
I can’t think of two professions whose employee population intertwines more than bar/restaurants and marketing. So maybe its just the type of person who would work those jobs.
That may be. Unfortunately, none of those occupations show up over and over in a weekly column that I read.
Yeah, I guess I just don’t see where this gets to the level of “humiliation”. I’ve seen that thrown around a few different times about this scenario. If OP was hauled out in front of the restaurant while dickhead got everyones attention, then went on a long explanation of how to properly pour wine while making her…
That’s a lot of text. I’ll assume you made some good points, some bad points, probably threw an anecdote in there then questioned why it matters so much to me. The short answer: it doesn’t. The long answer: it doesn’t.
Maybe the issue is in whatever world you two are living in being told how to serve wine by a random person you will never see again is a “difficult and humiliating interaction”. I would hate to see how you reacted if something of actual importance happened.
It’s my take because I’ve been reading this particular feature since inception and a common recurring theme is servers getting extremely upset and crying somewhere. I know of no other profession where this happens and seems to be celebrated.
