I can actually go and find some of those rarer cars made only for the Japanese market, but I don't think that it the goal of this list, not it's intended audience.

On the same line of thinking I could propose:

The company planned to make it a normal car until it closed doors because they ran into problems with the other car makers and thus ran out of money.
