I’m more and more relieved that this show is ending with season 5. Not that I dislike this show now. Far from it. Each episode of season 4 has at least a few memorable moments, and that cast are all crushing it, but I completely agree with the reviews here that this show feels like it’s spinning the wheels a lot, and

What started as a funhouse mirror of Marvel/DC, has turned into nothing more than a vehicle for Kripke to spew his TDS out into the world.

As crazy just for crazy’s sake most of the episode was, I did love Firecracker facetiming during the fight and as evidence that she infiltrated a Jewish cabal she points to the cardboard cutout of Tony Shalhoub.

ooooh -- yeah, that’s super-subtle...

This is an amazingly stupid article.

People can believe what they want but this seems like a stretch.

The only way this game can be realistic is if all of the economic/production data given to the player is completely fabricated and over-inflated, but you don’t know by how much. Like you think you have X units of steel being produced, but the reality is you have a fraction of that. And do that across all of your input

That’s fine.

It actively drives me crazy how misused Bury Your Gays gets used by wokescolds online, especially as someone who makes and consumes a lot of queer-themed horror work.

You are all wrong, NWO was a Hulk Hogan/Scott Hall/Kevin Nash thing.

This review reminded me of the text-box you see on a lot of Wikipedia articles: “This section may be overly detailed.” Listing every beat of the episode’s plot one after the other gets tiring to read, and aside from saying that Bella Ramsey is “credibly American” I have almost no sense of whether the acting is good

I was thinking we’d either see him or Kallus - though it makes more sense to see him since Kallus would be hard to portray in live action without him looking like a dweeb and without the sexy David Oyelowo voice

Ohh...nice catch.  I love it when they through these nuances into the shows.

The decision to hold off on showing us stormtroopers and star destroyers until now has really made their appearances here pay off. We just get a little bit, and it’s enough to actually make them seem dangerous. Same with how the show handled the TIE fighters on Aldhani. I’m glad to see a Star Wars property treating

Not just the best episode of the season so far, but the best episode of Archer in quite some time imo. That was the most I’ve laughed in a good while. Felt more like early seasons Archer

Four points make for a love triangle or a love rectangle?

Yes, because the straight characters are never exposed to utter horrific tragedy. What is it you want, a celebration of homosexuality with a rainbow cake and legions of men in assless chaps all in a parade that would rival any San Fran affair?  The reality of most historical cultures is that they did NOT embrace such

I think some of the “backlash against criticism about representation” is about the fact that it sometimes feels like it’s the only subject critics are interested in. This was, by far, the best episode of House of the Dragon. It managed to create a tension the show has been lacking, and ended with a scene where all the

It seemed a little wonky when She-Hulk was walking down the courthouse steps, but other than that I’ve had no problems.

That’s the point of them using it so often (and incorrectly). They want to make the term meaningless so that people are less likely to notice they’re doing all the same things that Nazis were known for.
