Imagine witnessing a man in mourning, a man who has lost his beloved wife, who sits in throne room of hard-won treasures - wonders from across the world - that all mean absolutely nothing to him now because he won them for her and without her they hold no meaning or value, and going “All men suck!”.

“Critical Supe Theory”

His writing is incongruous. That’s the problem.

He’s trying to write real-life meta-commentary into a world where such things wouldn’t exist.

Oh no, I was aware of Tek Knight’s... uhh... proclivities, but this is going way beyond that.

Kripke writes every villain as a sexual deviant. It’s really kinda stupid.

That was... the worst episode the show has ever done.

The show (and it’s show-runner) really think it’s cleverer than it actually is, treating the Neagan reveal like it’s some Keyser Soze-level misdirect even though most people figured it out (or at least suspected) weeks ago. It also completely demystifies Sage.

And, naturally, the left has had no such shift towards the clown world-ish at all. Nu-uh. All completely reasonable and normal from the other side, right? ;-)

Ok, so that was a lobotomy. I really wasn’t sure at the end.

If she regenerates, which I have to assume she does, then I can see her doing that as a way to “relax”. Get rid of the smarts, and just watch crap TV and eat junk.

My money is on JDM being a hallucination. No one else has interacted with him.

It’s just Kripke disappearing up his own ass with his virulent anti-right extreme-left point of view.

Remember, this is a guy who thinks that all super heroes are fascist, that super heroes are “inherently MAGA” (despite that being a massively modern term), and that the (Jewish) writers of superheroes back in the day

Is this the start of his journey away from Vought and to The Boys?”

“The episode deliberately parallels Cooper’s move toward Communism...”

Cooper was never a communist. Neither was the group he met with, nor Moldaver erself. Moldaver even comments that “communist” is just an easy label people apply to her as it makes her easier to dismiss and discredit (must like “fascist” has become

It’s a shame that Rogue didn’t keep up her squat exercises... :-(

Trek is about excellence. The crews are meant to be the best of the best. They are meant to exemplify the Federation through and through.

Discovery? Hopeless neurotics who can’t and don’t work as a team. Worse, modern Kurtzman Trek just references itself. There’s nothing new happening there.

They stand on the shoulders

Did you choke back a sob when Sgt. Warren “Skip” Muck and Pfc. Alex Penkala were killed instantly (and together) by an artillery barrage in Band Of Brothers?

And, in real life. Don’t forget that.

I don’t think it was rushed. I mean, this is episode 5 of 8. This is time for a twist.

I’m just sad it was Cate. I feared that her character would be the bitchy mean girl girlfriend of the “super star”, and the show has done a fantastic job of making it clear that she’s not that at all, and is in fact terrified of her

*folds arms and leans back*

Shows like this make you appreciate things like One Piece even more: Story-telling, scriptwriting, good pacing, characterisation, hell even basic levels of logic. These are things this show desperately needs.

And you can’t be “racist” towards droids. They’re machines. They’re not people. They are programmed objects.

Imagine thinking that cancel culture isn’t real despite years of evidence to the contrary.

Talk about being desperate to see what simply isn’t there...

The only weirdos are those using the word “Latinx”.

Oh wow. You said “Latinx” unironically.
