“It’s an ignominious ending for a character we’ve only just met, and it’s part of a persistent problem on modern television.”

Who’d’ve thought that Fabian and Krieger make such a good duo. :-D

That was the most obvious one to me. Bad composition walking down the stairs.

I was super into this episode right up until the point where it suddenly stopped in the middle of a scene. D+ really needs to get their pacing/episode length shit together, and quick.

Defendants/plaintiffs impulsively standing up and giving statements in court is probably not something that happens a lot in real

Ok, cool. My mistake. :)

I still don’t get who this show is for exactly, but Madisynn was awesome. :D

The “No” at the start was one of the best line reads. H. Jon Benjamin always finds newer heights to reach, even with the simplest of things.

And I thought the Pam sub-plot was sweet.

It’s been a few years, but did Lana steal Archer’s sperm when he was in the coma? Or before?

Oh Christ... you’re one of those people who think communism is better, aren’t you? And that the world would be better if the USSR was still around?

Next you’ll be telling me that ‘real socialism hasn’t been tried’ with a completely straight face.

How is mourning this death “white supremacy”?

I think “white supremacy” is quickly becoming the new ‘Nazi: A term so overused on the Internet that it has lost all meaning and is now so diluted as to mean anything involving white people anywhere at all.

Treating the Queen as a figure of hatred for British Imperial atrocities feels like blaming the late Gorbachev for Ivan the Terrible, the Gulags, NKVD purges, and the centuries of Russian, Belarus, Ukrainian serfdom, a bit silly and forced (but that’s Twitter).

Not the first time.

You can’t explain how scary it is to be a woman walking alone at night unless you’ve been a woman walking alone at night, and there’s a particular kind of terror involved as a woman being attacked by a man or group of men.

Which has all of nothing to do with what was said. The implication that being jumped by a group

“It’s the two dragons Viserys promised”

No, that was Laenor. He was already there, at the war council at the start with his father and... uncle? I think uncle. Either way, the whole ploy was for someone to go onto the beach as a suicide mission and draw them out.

It wasn’t a deus ex machina as it was exactly their plan

Exactly. If we want to see liberal [current year] views slapped onto a fantasy world we’ll watch Rings of Power. ;-)

Is he actually a Nazi, or he an “Internet Nazi”, so basically someone who isn’t in lockstep with whatever the left/Democrats are saying?

“Well, they have guns, and we have Cyril, who is like the opposite of a gun.”

Genuinely the line that made me laugh the most.

Ray’s whole “propeller down your throat and engine up your ass” rant sounded like he was trying to channel Mallory. If she’d delivered that barb it probably would have landed and got the

“Mum, I want the MCU to inctroduce the Wrecking Crew!”
“We have the Wrecking Crew at home!”

... and in this episode, we got the “at home” Wrecking Crew. But hey, they have a “boss” who’s going to be “mad” at them for not getting Jen’s blood.

Sterns?

“At first, she’s terrified, as any woman would be.”

Or any person would be. It’s not like a guy getting jumped by four people would just puff out his chest, laugh at them, and then raise his fists. Getting jumped is scary. What’s it got to do with being “cisgendered”?

This reviewer is cracked...

“...his show had every opportunity to make its cast more diverse, especially considering how much (justified!) flack Game Of Thrones got for its homogenous central cast.”

There’s been no evidence shown they had a sexual relationship
