The drivers are yellow because they are made of Kevlar. It has been a Bowers and Wilkins signature look since the 1970’s. I agree that it doesn’t look great, but people who shell out the extra for a B&W sound system expect probably expect to see yellow drivers somewhere.

Sounds about right. The CVT should be good for about 1-2 mpg over the manual. My wife's Outback has the 2.5 CVT combo and gets about the same mileage as my Forester despite weighing another 300 pounds or so. Getting going usually means around 4,000 rpm.

I think it has something to do with dealer networks. Buick and GMC are sold together and though the prices start higher than Chevy there is a lot of overlap. It lets GM have more full-line stores in an area without having too many Chevy stores.

While I don’t doubt you, I’ve actually seen more SS’s than Caprice PPV’s out there. Here in Texas police cars all seem to be Chargers, Explorers, and Tahoes in addition to the Crown Vic’s still running around. I think I’ve seen maybe two PPV’s.

I really hope this also has the 500 Abarth exhaust.
