0-60 in 3.8 and the 1/4 in under 12 was crazy in 1984 and still $100,000 car territory today.

What does it smell like?

They probably came back from Avis. The last Captiva I was stuck with as a rental was about a month old with maybe 1,000 miles on it and has all sorts of small issues including broken window switches, non-functioning remote entry, a power seat that didn’t move, and light bulbs out. When were returning it and told the

Damn you, now I’m trying to figure out my wife will kill me if I lie and say we are visiting her family in Carolina so that I can actually attempt to limp this back to Texas.

I had a minivan in high school. So much sex was had in that van. Both by me and by others who were constantly trying to get away with it in the way back seat while I was driving around 3-4 other people in the rest of the seats.

996 Turbo uses a different motor design than the non-turbo 996’s. It isn’t just a 996 with twin turbos slapped on. As a general rule, non-turbo 996’s are unreliable but a 996 Turbo is pretty much bulletproof.

I used to live in a county in PA that actually did require “number plates” for bikes. You had to register your bike and got a sticker with a number that you put on the downtube. Also, most (all?) commercially produced bikes frames have a serial number stamped on the underside of the bottom bracket. Both could be used

The VW dealer down the street has a 2009 328i manual sedan with 50,000 miles for $14,000. It is a hideous gray color but it still seems like a good deal. Resisting urge to pull the trigger. What am I missing?

In black maybe. One of my neighbors has a yellow one and I’ve never really thought it looks all that angry. He has some custom exhaust with dual 4” outlets and it sure sounds angry though!

I think the Z06 needs to be the right color to look angry. I saw one on the road in dark gray the other day and it didn’t seem angry or even much different than a Stingray or C6 even. I finally noticed it was a Z06 when it ended up next to me at a red light. I think the color sort of hides the angles and carbon

I'm disappointed I had to get this far to see an x-Bow

Most likely Korean. The 2.7L Delta V6 in my 2007 Hyundai has a 60,000 interval and an interference design. They sold cars with that motor through 2009, so it isn’t in the too distant past yet. It is the one and only job I actually get done at the dealer - they are always running timing belt specials, I assume because

Dear god that made my night. Thank you.

Oh hai! I waaaav.

Need moar bike racks on mid engined cars!

Assuming I didn’t get in trouble taking an electric bike on the bike paths around here at 20 MPH I would easily beat my current commute that averages 15 MPH during rush hour. That is one reason to get one versus a motorcycle.

Oh hi, I’m a Kia Rondo!

Same here. I love the red. My wife asked why I was looking at some brightly painted Camry instead of the road in front of me. Didn’t bother explaining.

The Mets still owe Bobby Bonilla $1.2 million a year for the next 22 years...

I owned a Chevette once. CP at any price.
