I had a tanker boss. In between singing the panzerlied he would say nobody thinks we need tanks, until they really go into combat. He compared them to whores - you don’t want them around all the time but when you do you’re going to want them bad and have to buy them.
Nothing like having to secure Liberty because of one douchebag.
Thanks I'll have to ask him. It was SOCal so probably taking advantage of him.
My dad had a vintage Omega sea master. They wanted more to repair it then it was worth. So this skill doesn't come cheap.
My CO had flown the D’s which had less power. He said they had to sometimes fly forward over the flight deck to gain translational lift.
From back before 164 was the RAG. It was a MEU sqdn at the time.

Going to be some time before all the gear in the caves is painted green again!
Nice of the Chinese to tell you guys to not buy Japanese subs because it hurts their feelings because of the war and not to support the Philippines UNCLOS suit just because they say so.
EDCA.
It's all Sun Tzu. They've won without fighting at all.
I was going to say. Very close to ocean spray. Probably not marinized. Would have to be on a very strenuous corrosion control program.
Until some kid trips over a knee knocker and squeals like a stuck pig. ;)
It is kind of a lash up because the Marines developed it on its own. Probably why it was fielded in a timely fashion. Note the plows are Brit engineered probably the same ones as on the Trojan.
Watashi wa genki!
I lived in a small cottage in Okinawa that had a huge tree behind it. My Okinawan wife insisted my house was haunted but I said maybe it’s Totoro watching over it. Her teen daughter said Totoro is dead. ;(
None at all.
We had this Mercedes contraption. It broke all the time.
BAE is a major defense contractor in the US as well.
