I always think of this scene when someone mentions the empire. ;)

Well who knows what you hats were doing in the squad bays. while us Series commanders were in our offices? ;)

Hmm. I worked at Marine boot camp MCRD and drafting was not on the training sched IIRC although there might've been some forms to fill out. It's not routine in daily work to hand write anything.

The Marines only uses all caps for naval message traffic and people don’t like that these days and are trying to change it. Most forms are all filled on computers today so I’ve never seen any required to hand print in Caps any more. And believe me young people today don’t have penmanship like that.

It is becoming rare for people to print all caps neatly like the calendar. That’s engineering draftsmen training. I was the last engineer class at my school to do hand drafting.

Not getting the 360 effect on iPhone. Just one big panoramic image. Weird.

Sad that Jack Wild became an alcoholic and died relatively young.

And I only hear people say Yankee and Zulu. Or even still say Huey and Cobra. That Viper Venom stuff is just Bell marketing.

Yeah got a KWA 1911 GBB for fun. Learned that 20 years of firing M9 had me sweeping safety wrong direction every time I wanted to shoot some punk kid in mini camis. ;)

Thank the Japanese and their strict gun control. Which gave rise to their creation of replica toy guns.

I'm not sure. I went with my kid and although they looked impressive unless you were using a PTP model it develops bad muscle memory for charging and clearing the weapon. They also pray and spray and learn to take cover behind inadequate objects. Fun though!

They don’t need your food Yankee running dog!

Yup. Air raid alarms went off in Okinawa.
