Stannis being the exception to the rule.
Stannis being the exception to the rule.
It’s not generally a kick to the dick that incapacitates a man, it’s a kick to the balls. Which apparently Theon ALSO does not have.
I thought it seemed obvious that Tormund and Beric were able to get to a part of the wall that didn’t crumble and that they were still alive. I could be wrong but that’s what I thought.
After that shot there was a wide shot of the wall continuing to collapse further inland, so there is a sense of ambiguity as to whether they survived.
I think Bran is like a bad search engine. He has access to all the knowledge, but can’t just grab it immediately. Unless you Ask Jeeves something extremely specific, you’re not going to get useful results.
I know it’s been talked about on other articles, but I don’t think Tormund and Beric are dead. If I am correctly recalling the last scene of them on the top of the wall, it collapsed behind them as they were running. Based on the section that fell, they would have been west of Eastwatch and still on the top of wall.…
Can Melisandre resurrect a wight?
Agreed - the show isn’t going to just kill both of them off without making it clear. It did seem to me that they were well clear of the collapsing sections when it stopped, while a bunch of the red-shirts died.
I hope they did survive, but are subsequently stuck up there, unable to get down. Every episode the show will check in on them for about thirty seconds, making snarky jokes to each other about what everyone else is doing down below. Eventually they’re both frozen in place from the waist down, forced to watch the rest…
It made sense to me, too. Bran can read the past like an encyclopedia, but he still has to know what to look for.
I think what makes it most clear they survived was that we didn’t get a last mention of Brienne from Tormund as he died.
I don’t see Cleganebowl this week - I don’t see why the hound would be going to the kings landing powwow in the first place. who would he go with? Jon just met him. he’s been on the run for 4 or 5 seasons and was only on the wall raid because he was in the eastwatch jail with the bwbs. why would they trust him to…

Oh yay I’m super gray.
its almost like people like different music
“Shake it Off” was a pretty “meh” lead single from on overall fantastic album, so hopefully this isn’t too representative of what’s to come.
This is not a good song, and this is coming from someone who enjoys a good taylor swift pop song.
It pretty well established that Sansa not like or trust Littlefinger, but needs Men Of Vale on her side, so has to keep him placated. If there were way to off Baelish while keeping Vale loyal to her, me would think Sansa would jump at chance. And me feel like having loyal assassin who could both kill Baelish and…
There’s some merit at least to the bedchamber scene.
I think they’ve given us enough clues that Arya is playing a game here. Whether Sansa is in on the con or just a very accommodating dupe remains to be seen. Bran, like all oracles, is being professionally mysterious. The dagger passing from hand to hand seems the most important communication in all this.
