The prevailing response here is pretty disappointing. It's an ad, prominently displayed around cities where it can't be avoided, not a work of classic work of literature being taken off of a syllabus because of trigger warnings. If the image is not upsetting to you, congratulations, you probably weren't a victim of

Yes, there is a very good chance they have bigger issues if they are triggered by a giant photo of someone being choked as it probably means that they were victims of domestic violence. It is a pretty shitty thing to have experienced and they may not want 50 ft reminders of around their city.

I think that's part of what makes Neil Cicierega's "Bustin' " re-edit such a delight. It jumps to all of the good bits and is funny.

He's a pretty good singer so it doesn't surprise me at all. He can do dead-on impersonations of a number of different singers, which wouldn't be possible without vocal talent. Being annoying is a whole other can of worms.

David Bowie.
Queen Latifah.
Aimee Mann.
David Tennant.

Not much to add, but thank you AV Club for this feature. I used to be able to rely on my Newbury Comics mailing list for new release info, but now that CDs/brick and mortar music stores are dying a slow death, they only carry a small fraction of the new releases and don't announce the others.

Followed by "HOW MANY KEGS SHOULD I GET FOR MY FAHKIN KEGGAH?"

Someone in the comments section of another article about this map mentioned that "Am I a Psycho?" is the name of a song by a popular Kansas City artist. Still funny.

That was one entry that did not surprise me at all.

This map is delightful. More than one person in West Virginia asked the internet "When is Cinco de Mayo?" I realize not everyone speaks Spanish, but really - did they not have Sesame Street in WV?

Right, this is my thinking. People see mediocre trailers, shrug their shoulders, and move on all the time. Or they decide that trailers aren't always representative and give it a shot. Usually, this is largely an internal process or a discussion among friends when making plans. This movie seems to have a attracted a

I really wish B* in Apartment 23 had gone to FX or Comedy Central or somewhere that would have given it the room to breathe it needed. Airing the eps out of order seemed symptomatic of ABC just not knowing what to do with it. There were so many great moments- it could have grown into something really special if it had

Going with the iffy movies with good soundtracks theme, there was a questionable Corey and Corey vehicle called Dream a Little Dream that I liked as a tweenager- there was some iffy stuff on the soundtrack too, but also some greats. Otis Redding's Dreams to Remember sent me down the rabbit hole of seeking out soul

Same here, if you replace guiltfully with unabashedly. Ego trip or no, there's a lot of fun stuff in that movie. Some great stuff on the soundtrack too.

He seems like a good dude and does a lot to foster a sense of community among smaller/emerging artists. The Outlaw Roadshow is a pretty cool showcase- I've discovered some great new music there.

That Wilson Pickett cover gives me chills every time I hear it. Aretha Franklin does a solid version of Eleanor Rigby as well.

I think part of the problem might have been that the characters are supposed to both be straight men, but enough of Belushi's manic energy came crackling through in the original and gave things a jolt that Goodman, while still a great comic actor, could not replicate.

Nothing But Trouble would have been fine if they had cut it off after the Digital Underground performance. Admittedly that cuts out like 90% of the movie, but what can you do?

This movie committed the ultimate sin of being mostly boring. I have seen it twice and my strongest recollection of it is that it was mostly meh, but Erykah Badu was fantastic- powerful and campy in a way that hits me where I live. Rabin is right that she steals the film.

One of the anecdotes I read recently said he didn't believe in time because if time doesn't exist, he can't age. He could have been joking, but can you ever really know with Prince? Maybe he thought if he had a will it would confirm he was mortal.
