Microsoft probably looked at Apple, Android and then realized it wasn't worth the time and money it would take to fight people who root/jailbreak. People are gonna do it regardless of whether or not Microsoft wants them too, it helps attract developers and it attracts customers who want to play with the innards of

The Tumbler was amazing. It was even more amazing that it was a functional practical vehicle and not just a fiberglass frame thrown on top of a stock chassis. I am also glad they got rid of the stupid plastic fins.

Online gaming doesn't use a large amount of data, even if you game 8 hours a day you are only looking at something like 200-300MB a month. Game packets are very small.

I can understand not carrying certain specific brand products however plexiglass and U-bolts are standard building materials world wide.

I wouldn't say that "most people" don't know about Google Music or Cloud Drive. I mean they are two services offered by pretty big companies both of which got a lot of press a month or two back. They each have tens of thousands (or more) of users... also Google Music comes built into every version of Android.

It is very likely that HTC will remove a lot of what makes Sense worthwhile in order to get it to fit onto the Desire. HTC as part of its brand strategy is probably trying to make sure that everyone gets the same Sense experience regardless of phone, however it looks like they consider customer happiness more

My Google Music Beta & Amazon MP3 both sync music wirelessly right now. My iTunes Library was uploaded to Google Music (I could also upload it to my Amazon Cloud Drive), and both Google Music and Amazon MP3 give the option of downloading MP3s to my phone (either as an permanent option or a one-off event).
