Playstation is a really good name for a console. And even more importantly Playstation is a very strong brand.

The Xbox 360 is actually the Xbox 2. It was called 360 because it was a "revolutionary" console ;)

No, Microsoft has moved away from cute names with their products.

Why release a replacement console? The Xbox 360 Slim is still a very strong selling console, and games for it sell record numbers. Its making money hand over fist for Microsoft and all the partnerships Microsoft is bringing out, like with Netflix & Hulu only bring them more money.

No, those are two different similar machines, built by two different companies. The one in the photo above is much larger than the one in the article.

Apple is suing HTC over parts of Android (slide to unlock, etc), and Android is a Google product that HTC distributes.

I don't mind the 4.3" screen on my EVO. That isn't much smaller than the 4.5" screen on the Infuse.

Ahh jeez now HTC has to sue Apple over its OWN app named Footprints, which is a social media tool that uses photos and GPS to track locations you have been to. The logo is even similar. What a shame.

At first I thought that thing on the dogs head was a fricken laser beam. But all it is is a fricken camera. I guess titanium teeth are cool though.

Not as big a difference as you seem to think.

I actually kind of like the direction Ubisoft is taking with the games. I wish that each Assassin that Desmond re-lives would be spread across 3 games. I can see why people might be getting impatient to see the conclusion of the story but honestly, the games are good. I will gladly stretch out the story for another 4

Lots of Washington politicians live in West Virginia.... possibly why AT&T chose to defend this location first.

More like making a reasonable request.

This story does not belong on Gizmodo.

Ehh.. have it on VHS & DVD.

Binder Clips are one of the worlds most amazing inventions. Simple, cheap, functional and useful for hundreds of different tasks.

You could easily make a functional and attractive cord tamer similar to the one above by spending $2 or less at the hardware store. No thanks.

Yeah, but honestly thats why most of our allies are our allies. Its not like people want to be an ally of the U.S. because we are so warm and cuddly, for the most part our "allies" side with use for the aide and support we can offer them.

Kinda cool I guess, if you are into keyboard shortcut-based humor. But $18? No thanks.

Just because Pakistan is our ally today doesn't mean they will be our ally tomorrow. Our countries policy with allies has always been to keep the best toys for ourselves.
