For some reason they just don't look all that durable.

I don't know how it is fair to say that Android tablets running 2.x are any less tablets than the iPad running.. well any version of iOS. Aside from the App scaling feature the iPad is just a huge iPhone, without the phone parts.

Both.

If there is a WiFi Xoom out there for $540.. sold.

There are actually many decent Android tablets currently available. Most are not as feature rich or as exciting as the iPad, but many are running relatively stock versions of Android 2.x.

I guess that depends on the type of App you are developing, and whether or not your revenue is generated by serving advertisements. An iPod touch doesn't have a steady connection to the internet which makes it tricky for some Apps and non-workable for others. Also it only shows ads when connected to WiFi. The iPad is

Why is it unfair?

Postpaid plans seem like the better deal. 2GB of overages cost $5 less than they would if you prepaid your data. Plus you can get it in smaller data increments.

I guess this type of innovation is good, if you don't use your trunk for anything other than storing you 5th wheel.

@knightvash: Three wheels are not more stable than 4 when turning, especially for taller vehicles.

The price of freedom is a little insecurity, it always has been.

Damnit, sorry for the double post.

Why do you need this App? Can't you already do this on the iPhone?

Yesterday I was hooking up my Wii for the first time in about a year and found myself playing the original Punch-out!! for over 3 hours just because I had noticed it on one of the channels.

But Google isn't excluding anyone. Anyone can make almost any type of App they want and put it into the Market as long as it isn't blatantly damaging to the end user. How will having a 3rd party company sell and distribute Apps improve the market experience?

The real solution to that problem is to have the integrated market support payments from more countries, not to introduce a 3rd party market system that by definition would have to constantly be behind the curve in terms of new developments in the OS it is meant to service.

There are apps that already do that. TV shows too.
