Are they reminding anyone else of Grendlers?
Are they reminding anyone else of Grendlers?
I would SO rather a film about Leia. Not a fan of SW in general, but I’d pay to see a movie about a Doctor General who happens to be a damned Princess.
I really, really do love Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Then we immediately heard from Trump’s lawyer,” recalls Latt. “He basically said, ‘How dare you? Donald wanted to do this. We’re going to sue you! We’re going to shut the entire show down!’
Isn’t everyone more sane, really?
Depressingly bad sewing on the clothes, there.
Get people in the store, and when it runs out, get new customers who come back and spend another $250 on new products because they loved Mac so much.
You see the problem. I have a doctorate and I still couldn’t completely understand what he was on about. He just used a thesaurus on every word and took away all meaning. He thought he was clever about it - funnily enough, when I asked him to define certain words like ‘perspicacious’ he said he’d never heard of the…
Yep. I tried to like it, I did. I was excited about a dark anthology show ala Outer Limits and Twilight Zone. At first I was just bored with the show and annoyed at how pretentiously it seemed to announce it was an ‘edgy’ and ‘clever’ show deserving respect and admiration. However, stealing plots from Community and Out…
Actually, I found it frustrating BECAUSE of SG1. ‘Window of Opportunity’ was fantastic, I loved it. But this episode of Dark Matter felt a little too much of a retread of WOO - to the point where I’m starting to dislike DM.
Yes, you are remembering correctly. And in complete honesty, Black Mirror never wow-ed me like it seemed to do with others. It was far too convinced of it’s own brilliance to actually deliver well. I’d rather just watch an episode of Twilight Zone.
And once again, allow me to drag this quote out from Jane Espenson, which I think perfectly sums up this great article:
I genuinely absolutely do not get the appeal for either Hiddleston or Redmayne. I mean, I wouldn’t be rude to them, but I doubt I’d even care if I were in the room with them.
Oh, that’s good to know. I steadily came to dislike the tv show and have avoided the comics because of it. I shall try to get round to them, thanks!
Yeah - I’m all for him learning to love, etc., whatever, but it’s just the way they chose to do it.
Ehhhh - I have a variety of ‘types’ that I’m attracted to, that’s not an instant unbelievable mark for me.
Yeah - it’s that that has made me stop watching. I was never overly fond of Chloe, and I just found the whole forced romance to be a big turn-off. I like Tom Ellis, I like the idea of the show, but yeah - Chloe and the forced romance is what made me turn off. I might have been able to stand Chloe if it weren’t for…
Agreed - I just don’t need to see women screamed at and hit and murdered for an hour. I genuinely have better things to do with my life. So I’m done with that crap. I’ll just watch Columbo reruns because yay.
And Audrey. I just wanted Audrey and our Coop back - instead, not only do we not have Cooper back, we don’t have him back twice.
Pretentious drivel demanding to be admired for how edgy and wow-so-arty it is - and yet absolutely up it’s own arse.
