I’m cool with the non-sequitor weirdness and all, and I can even deal with the whole ‘I know you just want to see Cooper and Audrey again but I’m going to show you what happens to your brain as you’re dying instead’ thing (though I really just want to see Coop and Audrey and am irritated neither one is actually there

Agree -I just wish he didn’t have the power to destroy so many lives to try to fill the massive black hole in his tiny charred heart.

... I don’t... who would... why put... I’m not really... wait... what?

PD confirmed they have suspended the officer implicated

If you check out this version of it, it looks VHS-y as hell, and the segment looks like its was filmed in the ‘90s, too. I’m still suspicious—like maybe they dug up old footage to promote the new show? I welcome more answers in the comments.

I understand what you’re saying. My problem with the Angels is you have Blink, which is beautiful, scary, clever, feels new, solid story from beginning to end. All because of two simple, every day things: 1) we blink without thinking, 2) we’re surrounded by statues and pass them without thinking. The every day turned

I don’t want to understand it, I just want it to stop!

Good. Britain did same thing, and gun violence here is exceptionally rare. Which is how I like it. I don’t understand America’s obsession with guns, I just don’t.

What’s ‘free time?’

I’m genuinely shocked by this. Harming animals as a child is an indicator of sadistic and psychopathic tendencies - bragging about such activities should automatically disqualify someone from holding any position of power in any situation, let alone one that involves the use of weapons. I mean this with all due

I can only go by what I’ve seen with US police, and most of my family were cops. And they were ALL like this. When he had an interview to go into the police, he told them how he used to like to tear the legs off animals as a child. He passed his psych eval with flying colours - and it obviously didn’t bother them

Moved from the square Trump-territory states to the UK just to get away from those wretched people. And I’ll never go back if I can help it!

We might be related - though I’ve not been in touch with these people for a couple decades, so if there was one other ‘bad apple’ in the family who found racism reprehensible, I wouldn’t have heard about it. Do you have a cousin that everyone hates cos they don’t tolerate racism? Could be me.

Moral of the story, folks: always, always consult multiple Wikipedia pages if you ever get the sneaking suspicion that you’ve accidentally mistaken some dark fan fiction for the real deal.

Thanks mate. I moved to another country just to be sure!

Most of my family is like this uncle, so I avoid all of them, parents included. They avoid me as well, because I am a liberal and will not accept racism of any kind. Which works just as well for me.

I think the problem is much worse than just ‘low standards’ - I think the psych evals are specifically created to select the people who have a desire to control others, a sadistic affection for violence, and ‘good ol’ boys’ attitudes towards race and gender. I come from a family of cops - they are ALL like this. They

My uncle (I haven’t spoken to him in decades because he’s a wretched, racist, horrible monster) was a deputy sheriff in US. He beat a black 17 year old into a coma ‘because he was bored’, to hear him tell of it.

The US legal system is designed to prop up sadistic sociopaths with guns and badges, and rewards them when they use them against others.

Pretty sure that’s how unicorns came about - someone saw a rhino and tried to explain it to a friend.
