I’m assuming that’s an old-folks community. All of the 55+ communities around Phoenix allow golf carts. And I’m pretty sure the redneck suburbs of Gilbert and Chandler do, too (I know they allow ATVs).

Well yeah, it would be weird to see PS4 or Xbox games in a Nintendo Direct...

I’m about halfway through WWHD and have TPHD queued up on my Wii U, but have been slogging it under the expectation that they’ll come to Switch soon. I’m guessing I’ll finish TPHD right about the time they make the announcement.

cool strawman bruh. so a AAA study from a few years ago found that the average american drives just under 30 miles per day. now, as I mentioned before, my wife drives almost 2x that yet somehow survives with an 80-mile EV. I’m going to go out on a long, long limb and suggest that this means the Honda e would be plenty

When you people realize you don’t need much more than that for the vast majority of your driving.

I’ve had mine ... 9 years? 10? Finally started to drive it regularly when my boys got old enough to demand it, so half of those miles are within the last couple years. No issues with them otherwise.

Don’t worry, his checks won’t bounce. They’ll furlough/layoff first and he’ll still get a golden parachute.

I LOVE the GTS II’s in my classic muscle car. I also had them shave the base, and designed my own bracket to effectively sit them on the floor. But I’ve had the driver’s side ratchet/hinge mechanism passenger-side plastic handle cover break with under 10,000 miles.

But then you’d have to drive a Bolt.

The wife’s commute is 50 miles round trip. She does just fine on an older eGolf (84 mi range).

I loaded a portable AC unit into an elderly lady’s car for her coming out of the store last week, and it genuinely made MY day. I should do that more often.

The eGolf is an outstanding vehicle, and there really was nothing that could compete with it in its range class. I just can’t believe VW didn’t grow the battery pack with the rest of the field. They really dropped the ball on that one, though I’m guessing it’s because they had already planned their new EV platform

Lithium batteries aren’t exactly cheap, and the eF-150s will undoubtedly have smaller profit margins than their ICE counterparts. Perhaps even much smaller.

Woah man, I cried when the Trail Blazers were knocked out of the playoffs. This was also 1992 and I was 7 at the time, so there’s that.

That looks fun! At the very least these are dead simple to work on. I’ve rewired a few old cars, and a Painless or AAW harness pay for themselves and then some. I’ve also used a cheap universal harness in one because I’m a masochist.

Well actually...

this is good kinja

uhh, Lutz pushed for an EV at GM back in the early 2000s, and is a huge reason they developed the Volt.

You’re right, if only Ford, Chrysler, or GM had the financial resources of Tesla............

Big Blue Van wheat? YOU’LL BE LIVING DOWN BY THE RIVER!
