I’ve seen a few TDI wagons in my search for a new(ish) vehicle. I was under the impression that all of these were rounded up and crushed. I take it that’s not the case?

I love our eGolf, which is plenty big for our needs. In fact, I just told the missus that a GTI would be swell.
I meant that as a “he’s dead to us since he moved on from Jalopnik” but forgot the /s.
I’m not going to rush to judgment without determining whether the homeowner had a diesel truck in the driveway.
I got an eGolf off-lease for $14k. The Leaf can be had much cheaper (just do your homework and be aware of battery issues with earlier years).
Since he didn’t include finish times (which admittedly would include time not on their feet), I looked at the cutoff of 71 mi in 22 hrs. That’s an average 18:30 min/mi, or a shade over 8 hr marathon.
