I’ll call my own self out here (before I get ban-hammered again). I was thrilled to vote for Obama for President twice. I don’t think I voted in the 2010 midterms. I honestly don’t remember. I know I didn’t vote in midterms before that. I probably wasn’t even aware of them.

Excellent point.  I believe that is why Obama is putting his energies into rallying the vote.  It is a message that needs to be heard every election.
