Why should my insurance cover whatever old man disease you have? I’m 32 and healthy. I don’t need to get medical treatment or take any pills. I mean. Why should I pay for your statins or whatever. You should exercise more or have been born with better genetics.

Some of the shit in the slam book ended up in our yearbook. Imagine that, the nasty things that were said about you, published in a yearbook you paid for without knowing that’d be in it. I’m still angry that the teachers let that garbage in. 

I too remember being ranked. The boys were sitting together just ranking every girl in the yearbook. The teacher knew what they were doing and just shrugged it off because “boys will be boys”. So proud of these girls.

Ugh, that is rough. My mother has at least 2 siblings with definite dementia/Alzheimer diagnoses. Another sibling is possibly showing signs of dementia but her adult children are in complete denial about it. My mom is freaked out about what this means for her future. Anyway, cognitive decline sucks and is scary :-(
