I absolutely believe Charlie Sheen was abused as a child as well. The words he used with Haim, I’m guessing were what he was told by his abusers. It doesn’t excuse his behavior but could provide insight into his own motivation.

People react differently to the same situation. Some people are more likely to internalize what happened to them and blame themselves. It’s great you can brush off something like that but some people are more sensitive.
