The Parents Television Council hasn’t been effective since the 1980s. They are a useless group flailing about trying to get anyone to pay attention to them. They are an even more useless Comics Code Authority, because at least the Comics Code Authority realized when it was time to give up the ghost and shut down.

They think the mere existence of it is blasphemy. It’s existence is an open invitation for their children to sin. It’s a temptation for their children to watch — gasp! — an R-rated film! Cursing! Blood! Even, oh god, nudity!

An oral agreement

But claiming that they don’t have real value because they’re not tangible is a dumb, old man take.

Gunn has never stated he disliked the character, only that he didn’t fit in with the GOTG movies, since Peter Quill was supposed to be the only human among the group.

It was always on the CW after it aired on DC Universe and then on HBO Max. I mean, that happened during it’s first season, too, so it didn’t really “move” there so much as it was always there.

JMS has confirmed that it would be a different story. Just like the reboot of BSG didn’t do the same thing as the original BSG.

I don’t know, The Expanse is doing good for Amazon Prime, isn’t it?

It was going to do that, but DC Universe stopped existing and everything there was moved to HBO Max.

It stands for CBS and WB. That’s all.

The B5 reboot will probably be moved to HBO Max, just like Stargirl was.

Nancy Drew is great.

I mean, I still loved seeing him. Black Krrsantan is great and it’s one step closer to seeing Doctor Aphra in live action.

The Tracksuits probably could’ve lived a nice life as owls, eating mice and stuff like owls do.

excise all of the torture porn, regular porn

I mean, we already knew his fate. It was “alive until the credits and then unknown.” People are acting as if David Chase revealed whether or not Tony lived or died after the credits and no, he didn’t.

I’m not defending Hocus Pocus; I’m saying that the argument “who asked for this?” is a stupid fucking argument and should go die in a fire.

There are quite a few box office flops and movies that didn’t do well with the critics that still got sequels. Hocus Pocus has obviously made a lot of money over the years, so even it being a flop isn’t true, and it has also been critically reappraised.

That was Marvel versus DC (or DC versus Marvel). The canon one is JLA/Avengers (or Avengers/JLA).

Her gift to them is a brush. Get it? A brush with Death!
