You cannot get ye flask!
You cannot get ye flask!
Poser you say? MMO you say? Dammit boy. When I started playing “video” games, they didn’t even have fucking video. I had to imagine the dungeons in my goddamn mind while I read words on an orange mono-chrome screen.
“Back then, we called Donkey Kong ‘Professor Bananas,’ and he didn’t throw barrels, he threw disobedient Irishmen! Most of the videy games cost one horsepenny and were eight seconds long! All of them were about a man trying to marry a potato, which was the style at the time.”
We live in a country where we are allowed to express opinions about what we deem to be illegal because the system can change. To say that all crimes are equally immoral because they are “crimes” ignores that:
Wow, false equivalence. Not everything is binary fella.
Why do we only care about separating families as a result of a crime being committed is illegal immigration? How many children have seen their parents arrested for other crimes? How many have been separated from one or more parent in the jail or prison system due to them breaking the law?
Word of advice: A pessimist/cynic that is only occasionally pleasantly surprised by a positive outcome is no less foolish than an optimist that is more often than not wrong because they believe in/strive for positive outcomes.
The fact that racial justice and a more fair criminal justice system aren’t considered “good, non-partisan causes that ‘everyone can get behind’” is exactly why people should be pressing on the issue.
Have no shame my friend, she is a hard yes. Just put a bag over her beliefs.
Meghan McCain is my secret liberal shame. I would love to be the James Carville to her Mary Matalin.
Actually, it would do more good if some of the 3 million excess votes from heavily blue states would move to places like Alabama (or NC, PA, WI, IA, MO, TN, KY, IN, GA) and help to make them competitive. Not only could you prevent another Tangerine the Clown from becoming president, but you could also enjoy affordable…
If white liberals ever wonder why minorities are so hard on their “allies” at times, this is the PERFECT example of why that is.
As Becky tries to explain why she isn’t racist, the driver tells her “if you’re not about that, you need to stay away from people like that”
They are old enough to know better and they were doing it at the wrong place and time. And know this,my parents knew that when I left the house I would not bring any dumb shit like this back home with me to humiliate them and the rest of the family. Now crawl back under the bridge troll.
If teenagers are too undeveloped to understand the consequences of such vile actions, then they REALLY don’t need to be driving.
I hope those are the folks they focus on, yes.
With respect, I find this explanation too elaborate by half.
I’m so tired of this fake-ass “patriotism” bullshit. It attempts to shut down any discontented discourse by making someone feel like a traitor for a thought or disagreement. It’s basically passive-aggressive censorship and I’m done with it. It’s like anytime someone calls someone an anti-Semite when you voice…
Yeah, that puzzled me too. I live in a small Southern town and the first thing that came to my mind was: “oh, they must be adding some benches, a water feature and a Confederate soldier statue to every store then!”
On Tuesday, Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.) appeared on a Fayetteville, N.C., radio show to talk about whatever…
