Film corporations spend a decade+ building up revenue streams based entirely on the stoking of fervor over logos, nostalgia, and familiarity, then turn into babies when people stop eating the food. Cry me a river.

I think that is the main problem with the Last Jedi. Not only did it have the large franchise problem of destroying any continuity of Luke’s character, it wasn’t even ‘continuitous’ with the Force Awakens, the film to which it was a sequel. It tossed everything out and the only remaining pieces were actors with names…

Maybe these idiots need to consider that Star Wars movies shouldn’t be made.  They are not well received because there is literally nowhere to go. These companies keep shoving the same logos down everyone’s throats then start whining and acting like victims when people get tired of it.

And that has all been stoked by Disney.
