Look, I’m usually an all Miata, all the time kind of guy but $6500 is just too much for a nearly 30 year old car with 200k on the odometer, warning lights on the dash, and a frankly ugly color combo with the faded tan/black look.

I always thought it was odd that *Ford* was the one to discard the seats, instead of leaving it up to individual dealers. Once the van was in the dealer’s hands, was no longer the company’s decision what happened to it (basically) and *winkwink* it’s now a cargo van.

Save the electric stuff for the Family SUVs and sedans. I don’t see a reason why gas can’t continue with these low volume sports cars, maybe in a hybrid fashion.

Toyota needs to start offering the “roll hoop” style rear wing on these as a factory option. I don’t care if it wouldn’t be functional, but it would improve the looks dramatically. That would be way better than some carbon fiber bits.
