Literally disenfranchising people. Just so you know, its against flight procedure to allow electronics stowed in checked baggage with lithium ion batteries because of the chance of thermal runaway. Therefore, if you can’t bring your electronic device into the cabin, you usually can’t bring it on the airplane at all.

I feel like that’s actually the system described here, no one is going to force you to rate it. The additional option, “meh,” is the same as just skipping the rating.

I don’t trust people to accurately tell me the difference between a 4 and a 5 star movie. Just how much do I have to love something to give it a perfect rating? If I watch 30 movies a year, how many 5 star ratings are acceptable?
