Yup. Whenever Jesus-y people start their sermons at me I like to let them know that I was raised christian and that the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel is my godfather- and that has led me to my current atheism.

I need to vent so bad. Not yesterday Sunday, but the one before, my husband and his mom decided without mentioning it to me that my MIL should drive 10 hours to my 2 bedroom apartment and stay with me to “help” me get the kids back to school. No one asked me if I wanted or needed that.

It sounds like CBT therapy might help you. A therapist can help you with that, but if money is an issue there are workbooks online to get you started. Good luck!

Honestly, I don’t think you can. And I’m sorry. My family is to near-Dugger levels of Christianity and there is just nothing that gets through to them.
