Pretty much this. I also think the M3 should have waited to pass until after the Esses.... that said, the camera car is the real one that should have waited..... This was just practice / qualifying, not like this pass was necessary to win a race.

I would probably place blame with the camera car. Camera car hit his rear bumper so it’s not like he was up near the passenger door where he would have had “the right to be there” and the guy just moved over on him. Also trying to dive bomb the inside while 3 wide through the esses is pretty dumb especially since that…

I’m not at all impressed with Evans as an interviewer. The interview sections are stilted and formulaic. Perhaps he’ll get better at them, but they are instant fast forwards for me. It is one thing that Clarkson was legitimately far better at.

I’m sure it sounds much better in the original German.
