I’ve been to the Yardhouse at Fashion Island...I got a Yardhouse (the super tall glass thingie) and was really bad at drinking out of it. Spilling some on my neck.

I don’t get that analogy either. I’m a high school teacher and if I turn my back and a student stabs someone, how is that my fault? How could I anticipate random murder? To what degree are we (humans) responsible for others’ actions?

I mean I dunno, I’d like to think that even if I was marginally famous I would always have time to do stuff that involved cats/pet cats/adopt tons of cats.

A while ago there was an article on here about Jens Soring and Elizabeth Haysom (convicted for murdering her parents) and so many people were saying he should be released because he wouldn’t have had to serve so long in Germany. That charge was MURDER.

Yeah, on average you make a decent amount less at a private school than a public ones. No unions, I guess? I work at a public school and make about $5,000/year more than my friend who works at a private school (same level of education, same years work experience).
