Same here. I have both family and college friends that live in other states and Facebook is pretty much the only way we can connect other than texting or e-mail.

I’d wait for the jury trial(s). If they move the trials to the suburbs, then I have little hope there will be a guilty verdict for any of them. But if they keep the trials in the city where they belong, then I think there is a better chance for justice.

Our local newspaper publishes the list of the largest overtime amounts for New York State. Many on that list are in law enforcement. Even suburban cops in our city make at least $50,000 a year to start.

I understand what you are saying but there are many military members and their families who are on food stamps and are treated like shit when they get out of service. Many military members now have to purchase their own uniforms. They get shit on a lot worse than cops.
