I think the main question is how crazy Scott Walker will get in order to win the nomination. I mean, he’s already knee-deep in crazy but he seems to be making an extra effort lately.

Very true. As was the security guard killed in a NYC a couple of weeks ago. He simply had no time to react.

They just keep going back to the same tired canard of: “Well if the victims/teachers/students/movie theater ushers/reporters/etc. were armed this wouldn’t have happened.”

I own guns as well and I come from a long line of hunters (on my dad’s side). But something needs to be done about gun violence in this country. We need common sense gun laws in this country. And I side eye anyone who isn’t in favor of strong, stringent background checks.

I love dogs. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dogs. I hated Vick at the time of the pit bull fightings and torturing. I mean hate in a red-hot, want to bash his skull in kind of way. But he has done his time and he still has to beg for forgiveness.. He also hasn’t been in trouble since.

Or give locally. I get the occasional flyer in the mail but I rarely get spammed if I only give money to local charities. That’s my experience at least - I don’t know if others have had different experiences.

My Catholic grandparents (my mom’s parents) are like your in-laws.
