What kind of proof that masks do help would you be willing to accept?
What kind of proof that masks do help would you be willing to accept?
“Definitively proving” masks “work” to slow the spread of Covid would be unethical. All we can do is rely on what data we do have available, all of which shows that masks seem to be effective at reducing transmission. On the other hand, there is zero downside to you wearing a mask, unless you are one of the very rare…
Wear a mask you fucking clown. I’m surprised a science denier even knows what an app is. Go actually read some scientific literature you imbecile.
The test drive is the only thing I need a dealer for. Absolutely the only thing. The rest of a car purchase visit seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to up-sell.
There is no distinction between a jury or bench trial aside from who is ultimately the fact finder at trial. In either case, the judge is still limited by the allegations and claims that the plaintiff asserts (plus defenses and any counterclaims raised by the defendant). Again, the judge does not have the authority to…
“I ain’t got the time, and my daddy thinks I’m fine.” Anyone who’s heard “Rehab” knows her father enabled her addiction.
Except that’s not at all a judge’s responsibility. A judge is an umpire. Their job is to call balls and strikes, not make managerial decisions for one or both teams.
Neutral: I spent a large chunk of my adult life traveling for work (and fun). Having previously “planned” to get mild-medium sick up to 2x a year, I’m perfectly fine with my new normal-ish of wearing a mask everywhere I go when I encounter untrusted entities in close proximity.
I did run into someone, after it was public knowledge that the virus can be airborne, who was upset about the social distancing and hand hygiene. I didn’t know what to say to someone who was upset they had washed their hands a bunch.
Yes, what we’re finding - and it makes total sense - is that the things we’re now doing to avoid COVID, of course, lessen the transmission of the flu. I think one good thing that will come out of the pandemic is better hygiene practices.
God, what an awkward unsexy kiss...
The hate/worship Venn is a circle in their minds.
I don’t begrudge anyone who works hard the right to enjoy the fruits of their success, but Kylie Jenner is completely tone deaf to post garbage like this. A two year old with a $12K backpack posing in front of a $100K car? Please. Kylie was a gangly preteen with braces whose “fortune”, like that of the rest of her…
Ugh,”Let them eat Hermes”. Please Jezebel, starve the thirsty K-skank family out of existence for this callous stupidity. People are getting evicted, they are hungry and scared. But I don’t see these K-zillionaires encouraging anyone to donate to Second Harvest food bank or anything as “un-glam” as that.
Yes, Brad. We are going to rename peanut butter for your benefit. I’m sure we can get the entire freaking world to go along with that.
Oh that makes me wonder how biodiesel prices/companies are doing? If I recall, using recycled cooking oil is a key to their model, paired with reduced driving it could have a decent impact on their industry.
do you have a suggestion brad?
Yes! This!
This has all been completely avoidable and the evil bastards in the White House and controlling the Senate (republicans!) could have given us a comprehensive national plan to control the pandemic and give economic aid to the small businesses and employees that now are facing poverty along with plague. Vote Trump and…
Iger’s already forgone his entire 2020 salary. For Iger’s salary to pay even one year of wages(not even benefits) for 28000 employees, he would have to forgo his salary for 15-ish years.
