The worst part of 2020 has definitely been the mask + glasses + tucking hair behind ears situation + over-the-ear earbuds. LOL.  This is why god invented the ponytail.

I was born in ‘80 so Troop Beverly Hills (1989) was very popular with us, but my troop was all Navy families so we were more Red Feathers ... though, my mom is a California native so she was very Shelly Long. (And now I want to send her an email about this!)

In defense of the Girl Scouts, this depends so much on your troop leader. Your troop leader sets the agenda. The girls and/or their moms need to push what they WANT to do. When I was in Girl Scouts, my mom was the troop leader (lol) so we did lots of camping and outdoorsy stuff in California - but that could have also

I wear glasses and I like these masks the best. (I have 4 after ordering 1.) Some fit great, others fit great if upside down. I happen to wear really big frames (I feel like an 80s nerd but they’re trendy!) so the bottom of my frames tends to push down the fabric to make it more form fitting so it’s good.

Esther, I love this entire piece!! In 2005, my cell phone ring tone was “Bizarre Love Triangle.” My New Wave Spotify playlist inexplicably did not include “Chains of Love,” but now it does!

And like most things I want, it’s better left to imagination and television instead of having an actual potential impact on national policy.”

+1 for the Kenny Powers reference

I feel like one of my local pols had the right idea.

It’s going to be much harder to cancel private loans because the gov’t would have to pay off private loans which would be a paperwork nightmare versus forgiving loans already owed to the gov’t (much easier).

Excuse me, sir, but Georgia is a blue state.

Dollar General is opening a DGX a couple blocks from me. Super curious about this “millennial city dweller” concept.

FWIW, this isn’t a new strategy. I’ve seen plenty of Georgia lawyers file this type of motion where they intend to pursue a defense of justification.

I loved my Girl Scout experience and still donate to them today. We did a lot of outdoor activities and I remember camping in the rain and being mad when they made us leave the comfort of our sleeping bags to head to the cabin.

LOL. Oh, she is definitely a grifter.

This one happened to me when I was in Turkey - speaking in broken English - and I was like wtf brain!

Same. I really miss just sitting at a bar with all the hubbub around you but you’re not in it.

LOL. I once dropped a slice of pumpkin pie on my dog’s head and I can guarantee you that it was the best day of her life.

Tom Cruise sucks but also I appreciate that he’s taking this seriously.

I also live in a blue state (hilarious, it’s Georgia!). I’m not a parent, but my work involves some periphery contact with a lot of kids whose parents absolutely do not give a fuck (and who didn’t give a fuck pre-covid). Without an actual school to go to, we are losing these kids. And I am not just talking about their

I completely agree that the priority needs to be re-opening schools.
