In Atlanta, they’re geofenced on the beltline (a multiuse trail with a lot of walkers, runners, people from the suburbs on rental bikes) to 5mph.

LOL. I think there was some gender bias in my mind. Like, his mom worked for the fire department so I automatically put mom as the teacher. Even though dad was the teacher and his mom worked for the fire department (but not as firefighter).

“Unless he has family money or invested really well, I doubt he could afford it.”

Don’t get too excited - she was on the cover in her wedding gown as Trump’s bride.

The number of people crying “IT’S NOT HEALTHY” while ignoring the complete lack of cholesterol is fucking amazing to me.

Hahaha. I love the Stand and own a copy of the original and expanded.

Lizzzzzzzzo.

I think the look would have been better if the shorts were shorter.

I’ll be 40 next year and I had no idea. And I know who Robert Redford is!

Hahah. Yeah, I’m in an office of 5 women and we all dress for the weather outside, so we’re constantly running our space heaters because the building’s air is set for men in polyester from head to toe. Men need to take some tips from Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia... it’s too hot and humid for what men are

I was actually thinking about this this morning because lawd, the humidity has been thick for weeks. But, it’s men who uphold these fashion choices. If men want to start wearing shorts in the office or lighweight tunics, they need to get other men to approve.

I’ve lived in Atlanta for nearly 20 years and you are dead right on both counts. I think the Varsity is mostly nostalgia and tourist trap.

Hopper smokes a lot but that seems very on brand for an Indiana cop in the 80s. I've got no issues with the depiction. It's not like the kids are smoking (which, uh, kids were definitely smoking when I was a teen in the 90s).

“Rules like these are typically enacted by HOA busybodies and neighborhood jerks who are obsessed with ‘home values’, and these people come from all political persuasions.”

I think the “they” means the buyer.

Yeah, it’s definitely some dark shit and I’m also surprised someone hasn’t picked it up. Maybe because it ends with a suicide (instead of a murder) and instead of dying, she goes on to serve God’s kingdom. :/

I’m not a native born but I do happen to know the answer because of Atlanta’s failed hockey team.

Yeah, I live in high rise and while the community wants to install more electric chargers, the Powers That Be are resistant.

So.. a lot of women only get around 25k for a surrogacy contract. The bulk of the money goes to lawyers and agency fees.

“Fucking rent a cop threatened to arrest me if I didn’t ‘calm down.’”
