Ha! Newsflash, I’m a GenXr (or Eldest Millennial, depending on where you draw the line) who doesn’t have kids. Birthrates are at an all time low but the majority of people still become parents and neonatal herpes does happen. 

The person said herpes is no big deal and has no long term consequences. Sure. Unless you’re pregnant or your wife is pregnant, which newsflash, the majority of people become parents.
