I will take 10x more fun to drive for the 1mpg hit thanks.

The Frank Costanza restraint system!

That’s literally a manual transmission with extra steps.

What’s next? A robotic dad arm to keep you feeling virtually safe when it has to make an emergency stop?

At the Quebec Mont-Tremblant track, it has been the same issue for the past 20 years. The Circuit has been in existence since the late ‘60s. But, people who bought the cottages around the track in the 90s are bitching about the noise during racing week-ends. The track has to stop racing at 17:00. They knew the track

The stadium has existed for more than 30 years, likely much longer than any of the current residents have lived in the area. If you don’t want to be inconvenienced by a venue that holds large events, don’t fucking move next to one.

I’m more curious about how easy it is to accidentally activate, or whether it will be activated at the wrong time by mistake. Those drivers already have a boatload of things to process, so I wonder if that incremental little bit of mental energy is really worth the benefit when they’re trying to time their braking and

CP just for putting this at the end of the ad:

bet you and your wife will welcome social security, which is still socialism. right there in the damn name. people that bitch about socialism never seem to mind having a steady retirement income taken care of for them by the government.  i bet you like roads and police and fire stations and electricty gas and water

Don’t forget St Pierre and Miquelon near Newfoundland, I’m sure those French territories have health care too. And they may get Broncos!

Living on the side of the ocean with healthcare

RWD, Manual, V8 Wagon.

The only one on that list that makes me sad is Saab. The rest deserved the shallow grave at the end. They were all just badge engineered crap that wished it could badge engineered like Saab did. Saab at least attempted to make the POS cars they were saddled with as good as they could be. This wasn’t always a success

Saab could never have been a Subaru competitor as long as they built cars primarily in Sweden. They HAD to go upmarket, the cost of production was simply too high and the volumes too small to play in the mainstream market. Saab had long been a perfectly viable competitor to the jr BMWs anyway. 99 vs. 2002, 900 vs e21

The two are not mutually exclusive. GM DID “save” Saab. But then they allowed them to suffer a lingering demise due to lack of investment. Contrast Saab with Volvo, where Ford did right by them, even if they ended up selling them off.

She understood the terms of the business transaction, er marriage.

5th Gear: Goodbye Bieber

3rd Gear: Americans give out corporate subsidies like they’re going out of style.

Why, it’s almost as if a life-long criminal is going to continue being a criminal when you elect him to be president!
