“hang on a second, we can do something very interesting with this”
proceeds to do the most interesting thing in the automotive industry in decades.
Koenigsegg: the man is a no-shit genius. He’s up there with Browning on gun design, Tesla on electricity infrastructure, and Faraday on electro-magnetism.
At least they’ll be delivered before the rest of his product plans.
4th Gear:
Stirling Moss without a doubt. 16 poles, 16 wins, and 24 podiums out of 67 race entries (a higher rate than many F1 world champions), and an absolute class act as sportsman - he actually lost the championship one year because he defended the eventual winner (Mike Hawthorn) from being given an incorrect penalty, when…
Then there is the Toyota Claymore edition
Skinner almost got one.
Because of cars? Or because of air conditioning, smartphones, social media Netflix, ESPN, fantasy leagues, online gaming, and the interwebs? We spend more and more of our lives interacting with machines, instead of humans, and it’s not just behind the wheel!
Marky Mark still leads all of the other Honda riders in points despite not racing since May.
“modern hatchbacks don’t have the cargo space of old hatchbacks”

Before you ask, no the Audi A5 Sportback, Polestar 2 and Kia Stinger do not count as hatchbacks. They’re fastbacks. It’s different.
After living in Spain, I know the wages are significantly lower than the USA and Canada (by 1/3 I think), and the unemployment rate is still about 15% (higher for youth). My suspicion is that if cars were as expensive in Spain as in North America, no one would be buying cars there.
Averages get weird.
You aren’t factoring in the dealer markups. Say new Kia Sportage, nice equipped price was $38k. The markup on top of that was $16k. A $42k Telluride had a dealer markup of $22k.
Must be all the new EVs and gigantic trucks I see on the road around here. Also, the fact that all companies are shipping is top trim levels. My dad recently purchased his leased 2018 Subaru Forester because the only new Forester he could get to lease was over $40k. Luckily for him, the residual value of the 2018 was…
