No kidding. It’s a car better known for being driven by math teachers and your aunt, and yet the RT version of the Spirit was a fastest American-made sedan at one time. Should have featured prominently in this list.

I’m a big fan of the weird R-class. I had one and it was great. It could scoot. It also had paddle shifters which is weird for a smushed minivan. Best long-distance grand tourer I’ve ever had.

I’m surprised that this or any other boosted K or K-adjacent car wasn’t mentioned:

Seriously. They’re taking a massive leaf outta the Porsche playbook here.

As much as I love the Lotus Carlton, I don’t get it’s inclusion on this list. Maybe it’s because I grew up admiring them, and know what a boggo Carlton should look like, but this to me is not a slow looking car.

No edition of Taurus should exist.

Taurus SHO

My DD is an EcoBoost Flex. Had it nearly ten of its twelve years of existence (early 2010, so one of the first EB Flexes).

Except with the new Freelander of course. Where it either had the wrong name, or the wrong styling. Either way, it was a complete botched job.

Looks like the current generation mostly.

In a world of massive grills and over-styling, this looks great to me.

Agreed. That front end is too long. The angle in the picture posted doesn’t look so bad but from the side it looks cartoonish.

Remember 80's GT cars, that rode like silk on melted butter, sounded like a yard of corduroy being ripped in half, and handled with the telepathic grace of a gazelle? Aside from the sound, that’s what a Porsche Taycan is. I rode in one two weeks ago and my god man.

“No offense to the proud new owner of that SL 65 Black Series, but I’d rather spend that money on this work of art every single time.”

Same to you, wiseass. You seem to think you’re smarter than the rest of us with your whole “What wheels do you have on your NSX?” schtick repeated ad nauseum.

Newsflash dude, internet comment sections are literally designed for unsolicited opinions.

I think I’m finally at an age where driving a car that only allows you to use 20% of its potential while costing almost a half-year’s salary, most of which is spent trundling along at an average speed of 23 mph through dense urban traffic seems really fucking stupid. Gimme lots of cushions and seat massagers and

I’m glad I was taught how to drive stick, served me well when I moved to Spain

But profits. Sure, I mean, it’s bad for the global economy and whatever, but what about next quarter? THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

If the world went to war with China...where would the bullets come from?

I’m starting to wonder if optimizing all of our supply chains around China is no longer as good of an idea as before. They’re autocratic and have complete control over industries, not to mention there’s the whole Taiwan thing which could be hugely problematic for multiple industries just based on what TSMC produces by
