The Barcelona plant closure is a big deal for my region. It is the second biggest car plant after Seat.

Apparently the Navara is selling way less than previous generations. Just one of the reasons the Barcelona plant is getting shut down.

The TSX was always the JDM/EDM Accord. However that model as you point out died out.

That is because the TSX was an European interpretation of what an European sizes Japanese FWD car should be.

You could also argue that being a luxury saloon a focused manual gearbox is a moot point.

Audi has been catching an extra dose of shit for making their car too soft, too quiet, too understeery, and too overall dull”

If I’m not mistaken in 1994 or 1995 Prodrive introduced sequential gearboxes in the Imprezza

The Z4M is quite probably the most raw, visceral, animalistic car I have ever driven.

The Barcelona plant closure will be a big impact for our region. Bad just became worse for us.

The EV versions of ICE cars are too expensive. Especially here in Spain with no government incentives for the time being.

It was indeed. It was one of those tossable, joyful cars.

Customers, in general, are not interested in fuel efficiency as a concept. They are driven by (usually economic) incentives.

In the whole of Europe. Some, like the Mondeo, still remain.

The A5 Sportback is the new SAAB, longitudinal engine, front wheel drive, hatchback and all.

It was a common bodystyle for mid and full size European cars and it sold alongside the estate and saloon bodies in many cases.

Although the concept is similar, the name change has brought an increased price tag and sort of push upmarket.

In Europe it was a classic bodystyle pioneered by the Renault 16 and Austin Maxi in the late sixties which has survived to this day (although it is rapidly disappearing thanks to carpocalypse).

In this BMW era that you mention chrome bars in the grille signaled that your car had a six cylinder engine. Four cylinder engined cars came with the black grille bars.

The one in my Giulietta didn’t stop working, but I only needed to deactivate it once. After that it remembered to stay off for five years.

Possibly, although I’m sure they will find a way to tax the electricity we put in to make EV miles a relevant metric when they become prevalent.
