Nope Europe (Spain). Lexus is a very small player here and the only cars like these we get from Toyota are the Land Cruiser (Prado) in both 3 and 5 door versions with a 180bhp diesel engine.

Here it is only the NX and UX (especially the latter) which are seeing some sort of success.

I think the ES has “replaced” it hasn’t it? I haven’t seen any, but the the other day I saw a Camry (which similarly replaced Avensis) which seemed privately bought (i.e. not a ride sharing car).

My mother had one on my advice. A 1.7 litre version with the Yamaha engine.

Later on Ford Europe took on that idea and offered the SportKa, essentially a Ka with a bodykit and a 1.6 litre engine.

I remember long time ago we went to visit some family friends in France and they had a Twingo. That thing got up to 90-95mph in the country lanes of Landes (which were mostly flat and straight.

Thank you for your positive words!

I do not understand. So, you are worried that speeders will make speed limiters a thing and then you encourage then to stick to the speed limit.

So up to European motorway speeds.

So wait, the EDM autos and the USDM autos didn’t have the same gearbox?

This situation is both amazing and hard to understand for us in Europe. I’m sure at least... two or three people bought a Powershift-equipped Fiesta or Focus and nobody sued them or will receive anything from Ford.

Which was only copying the 127.

According to some very serious people in Munich the M140i will get to 60 in 4.3 seconds. I somehow doubt the Camaro SS does 0-60 in the mid-low 3 second range.

You don’t need 600+bhp for that.

Not for Europe it isn’t.

First things first, I do not like crossovers or SUV.

If crossovers are supposed to be cooler versions of regular hatchbacks, doesn’t using the same name defeat the point slightly?

Honest question: what car do you drive?

I personally prefer the driving dynamics of rear wheel drive but my current car is the first one in which I have thought that four wheel drive may actually be necessary.

One of the reasons I enjoyed my old MX-5 more than I do my current M140i (in some circumstances) is because performance was more accessible more of the time.
