Meanwhile in Europe...
If I recall correctly, these here were the 200SX which for some reason had a 1.8l turbo engine.
Well since you have to replace the engine mounts you may as well move them backwards...
“America used to be good at making cars”
Ann Wisdom: “We were just rallying”.

“We didn’t think of ourselves as pioneers… we just went rallying. We left a bit of a legacy, but not much.”
We have that as well, they are called raids. Although we don’t have the vast landscapes and bewildering deserts.
Come to the south! It’s like still with free healthcare but more chaos! Brilliant!
Nope you are wrong. If you live in say northern Spain, which I do, this rally is still several hours away.
I think he will have no problems in affording an Aston Martin AND a Renault.
One of the most underrated and understated Ferraris.
It was slow and jerky and sometimes it would leave you with no power while it was scrambling for a gear. The dual clutch in the latest Smart is a dramatic improvement, much smoother and faster.
I did drive a 500 quite recently with the turbo twin and a dual logic and it was... terrible.
I understand that, I do it sometimes in the Alfa, but as far as acceleration is concerned D and the right pedal is fine.
I have been driving manuals all my life, but currently drive an automatic (and not a very good one at that) and once I learnt more or less how it works I can manage shifting (in D) with pressure on the throttle.
I have never understood that last part on automatics... if you just want to go faster push the pedal further and the gearbox will decide which gear is best for the acceleration wanted... won’t it?
This is one of the worst gearboxes I have ever experienced...
BMW can charge extra for paddles since the console mounted shifter allows for manual shifting.
I drive an Alfa Romeo Giulietta with a dual clutch gearbox.
