Almost bought one 6 years ago. Ended up with an MX-5 RC. The Volkswagen would’ve probably been more sensible.

You are completely right. But then again clean-sheet designs are rarer than we think.

No, no, they still exist. They are called Dacias.

The GTI was actually a fun little car wasn’t it? 1300cc engine with 100-something horsepowers and no weight makes for a fine combo.

I DD a roadster for three years. Hated and enjoyed it at the same time.

Northeast Spain. In the winter just get a jacket and turn the heater on any other time just drive and enjoy. Peak of the summer a/c fully maxed, but it is not that bad.

I want to know how does it compare to the Outlander Sport.

Hey! Could be worse, you could hate the Mitsubishi ASX because you drive a Lancer with a CVT and know all about cars!

I am sorry, but a bloke with a standard production Lancer and a CVT feels compelled to bash that ASX by comoarison?

I thought they were buying the 3 litre straight six from the M2/3/4.

We Europeans drive fairly fast and don’t need (and can’t have for practicality) massive cars. With the right powertrain this can be perfectly adequate.

Why is the rear bumper all pushed outwards?

I remember seeing a C5 Coupé on the road about a couple of weeks ago.

I remember when about 15-20 years ago we had one of the original Mk 1 Scenics with the 1.6e engine.

Ah yes, as an Alfa Romeo driver I can relate to that. Pretty much every time I drive my car it manages to drive me up the wall, and I always say to myself I need to get rid of it and buy something more sensible.

I own a Giulietta JTDm TCT and while it hasn’t had any major mechanical issues it has had a series of annoying faults which haven’t brought the car to a halt but have made me visit the Alfa dealers more often that I would’ve wanted.
