ha! They even got the right magazine!

I think that sometimes actors take these heavy prosthetic “6 hours in make-up every morning” type roles in order to say they’ve done it. Like, just to show off that extra bit of commitment or maybe just to tick it off.

Seems miscast and misbudgeted. Give it to Broken Lizard or someone like that.

“Well, I may smoke weed but, uh, what was the second thing?”

I don’t think this would normally interest me, a childless man approaching 50, but that is one hell of a stacked cast! Pally and Edi? Sheer and Huebel? It has to be worth a look.

That’s a pretty great cast for something so dumb. I’ll definitely be watching.

Just saw Dune 2 again and I think we’re in safe hands. Timmy C and Zendaya are excellent actors.

I wish the third one had just a little more attention paid to the plot because I think it’s the most fun of the three and is probably the one I’d rewatch most often. It just doesn’t quite make sense unfortunately.

What ho!

We’ll suffice for a slightly too-old Scott.

Just release Detours already!

Turquoise Days. I got both books in one cover.

Well spotted! I love that bit. I’d be well up for seeing those metal teeth go to work.

Yeah, mostly. Which I think would be pretty sweet. The ending is so brutal.

Several Alistair Reynolds series would be very filmable. The Dreyfus books would make a good tv show. As would the Revenger books (maybe animated since they are quite out there, despite being more YA).

I’d just start with Consider Phlebas. It’s basically a series of gigantic action set-pieces strung together.

I’d probably make The Scar first. More of a film-like structure.

I’ve never seen the show and have no idea what it’s about but I find it hard to believe that it wouldn’t be improved by the addition of a time travelling detective.

You’ve got to assume he doesn’t wash his hands and eats pieces of shit for breakfast. Must be a joy to work with.
