Of course. Intelligent and creative people never use macs. That's pretty much a given.

The problem is that Microsoft had made a cardinal UX design error in backing touch screen devices over desktop. Unfortunately the metro interface just doesn't really make sense on a mouse-driven machine. They should have gone down the apple route and developed two, separate os's which have the ability to talk to each…
It's been a while since I've even used an MP3. I might just delete my entire collection and commit to Spotify.
Kittens as a service. There is a million dollar idea if I've ever heard one! Sign me up immediately!
In my defence, I never said it was a small number of particles, I said it was a comparatively small number, when you compare it with the amount of empty space between them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rutherfor…
Hard, yes. Impossible? Far from it. Scientists have already created a form of matter made from photos. If I remember my physics, all that is actually needed is to work out a way to body photons together by creating an electrostatic charge between them. If they do that, hard light holograms are perfectly feasable.…
I actually prefer to read a normal paperback, however I've recently discovered audible and now I manage to get through at least 2 books a week by listening to audiobooks at work. I still prefer the actual act of reading a book but this is helping me clear my massive backlogged reading list.
Filippo Berio is fake?! MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE!!
I travel a bit lighter than that:
13in MBA
Apple Magic Mouse
HTC One
4 x plug + 2 x USB power strip
Moleskine notebook
Parker ballpoint pen
Whichever book I'm reading at the time
Nintendo 3DS for when I get bored on the train but can't be bothered to read.
Britta Fill and Go Water bottle
ThermoCafe travel mug.
8gb flash drive

Hellish train journey for me. Just over an hour on a crowded, overheated tin can. Thankfully I'm a contractor and I've only got 5 days left on this contract ::goodtimes::
Only been a mac user for about 9 months or so but the more I use it, the more I dislike Windows. It's just a poorly made OS IMO. OSX is gorgeous and has most of the Linux stuff I like.... actually there is a point. My perfect os is a gorgeous version of Linux with the compatibility of windows and convenience of…

My dream OS is MacOS with the compatibility and uptake of Windows.
It's Adium. A popular IM client.
Unless you live outside of America, it seems.
This looks excellent. I've always wanted to learn Greek and Japanese, as well as brush up on my German. Looks like none of these languages are on here yet but I'm looking forward to when they are. French will do for now :)
Thank you :) I'm one of the lucky ones, I've had it for such a long time (a large part of that time, not even knowing what it was) that I've managed to just about get it under control. These days I generally just find it amusing when someone finds out I have it and then comments that my flat is never tidy :P
I imagined a tiger, as vividly as I could. I could see him running towards me with great speed; his big cat eyes looking at me like I was a tuna steak. Then I visualized the rest of the scenario—if I didn't get up very soon, he would attack me, but if I did get up, I would avoid him and save my life!
Next step is to invent a body suit which can simulate touch. I suspect the hardest part would be the hands as creating a glove which will make you really feel like you've picked that pickaxe up (plus adding some mechanism to stop you from closing your hand too far) must be quite difficult to achieve.
Oh microsoft. That was a mistake. The thing you did wrong was FORCING the issue. All you had to do was give people a choice. Have an offline mode where disc based games can't be installed and have an online mode where if you want to install your disc-based game, it has to do a check every 24 hours (or even just before…
