I'm on the kickstarter for this. I can't wait for the release, to be honest though I'd be unlikely to play an ALPHA for free, let alone for nearly $100. I'd maybe consider playing a Beta but even then, I wouldn't pay for it.

I recently bought a couple of google apps account for a new business venture I'm starting, adding new members to our company (beyond the basics of name and email address) seems to REQUIRE Google+, I find this really annoying as it puts my company directory in the hands of the employees. At the moment I trust the…
It's 'brand new' but my computers tend to follow a 'ship of Theseus' philosophy. There are parts in my new machine which are about 5-6 years old whereas there are parts in my 'old' media centre pc which are only a few weeks old.
I both agree and disagree. Back when I was a contractor there were two tools which I consdiered invaluable: Evernote and Dropbox. Due to the policies of the company which I now work for, I'm not allowed to install anything which is considered cloud software so I am now restricted the web interface.
Right. I'm very much an old-school gamer, I never really jumped on the multi-player bandwagon as a) I don't have many gamer friends and b) if I want to be social, I'll go outside. For me games have been an escape from the world and I DO NOT LIKE having to play them with other people. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it…
I think this method might be the best thing for me actually. Thanks! :)
Right so I have a question to put to all you lifehackers who use actual pen and paper. I've recently got a notepad and I want to start using it to start jotting ideas/tasks etc... down, however I am so used to the computer way of doing things that I feel like I HAVE to organise it in some way... how do you guys…
The only Jurassic Park game I ever really enjoyed was Operation Genesis and that's only because I'm a sucker for theme park/sim city based games.
I used to think like you, I used to hate iOS and praise Android, I used to love Linux and hate windows. Then I came to realise that having a free system isn't actually all that great unless you are a power user with the time and patience to do the fiddling.
To me, you WERE Lifehacker, you'll be missed man. Best of luck in the future.
It looks like it's saying "Kill.... Me...."
Well considering that minecraft maps are insanely large (I've heard that they are bigger than the Earth itself!) covering it entirely with TNT would probably not be a quick thing anyway.
Who said it had to be funny?
This actually works. I use it (albeit unwittingly) all the time, I purposefully organise things to be as convenient as possible as that way I'll actually do things. I've never considered about doing it the other way around though and making things LESS convenient.
Oh good, Leeds and Hull, UK are not on the map, it's good to know that myself and my family/friends are safe.

Aww... I love Lamp!
This just reminded me how utterly brilliant this game was. As much as I love GTA IV and have no doubt that V is going to be excellent, Vice City was the cream of the GTA games.
Recently (about 2 weeks ago) I started an intermittent fasting diet, I do everything that I normally would do (including spending 90% of my life sat down and the other 10% eating shite) however, 2 days per week I do not eat more than 600 calories. That's it. In two weeks, I've lost 8lb.
