I use Apple News+, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade (although not often). So for me, it’s not worth it at all.

Same here. Those two games were the only reason I was excited for the PS5 at launch (I was very surprised when Last of Us 2 came out for the PS4 as well!). I have a PS4 Pro so I don’t even have to lament the lack of HDR or 4K as I’ve already got it right there!

So yeah, like you, I’ll still get the PS5 but I’ll

PC games for me are always digital, I trust the Steam store and GOG, I don’t hugely trust Epic Games but I’ve had enough free games from them that I won’t begrudge them the occasional purchase.

I wrote the original media centre article on my blog about 10-11 years ago (the linux one was written by someone else later one, mine was windows based) and then Lifehacker sent me a message asking if they could repost it on their blog. Which I agreed to if they gave my blog a link at the end - they copied the article

I found this too. I got it mainly because I'm an adult and I don't want the censorship and 'woohoo' business but it just turns the Sims into a sex simulator which feels purile and spoils the game for me.

I can totally believe it. Someone vanished without a trace when we went on a cruise a few years ago. We know he got on the ship at Gibraltar and was reported missing on the way home whilst we were in the Atlantic. The ship doubled back for a while and rescue ships/choppers were sent out but he was never found. It’s

Tthe rest of the world doesn’t have Thanksgiving and for us (In Britain), the Christmas and New Years celebration is a great time of year for it as we’ve had months without any holiday at all (we don’t celebrate Halloween quite as intensely as you guys - mores the pity).

Also, for the self-employed Brits amongst us,

Screw Bubsy. They should bring back Mr Nutz.

I agree.

So it’s tethered? That’s a surprise, considering the hololens concept appeared to have an integrated computer inside it.

Does it have HOTAS and VR support yet? I’m tempted to give it another shot but I’m too used to Elite Dangerous VR to be able to play a similar game without that level of immersion.

I can confirm that this works.

If you have a vive I suggest you try out Vanishing Realms for your sword/shield/bow wants and Waltz of the Wizard for your spell casting.

Going to Cornwall which I’m hoping will be fairly warm. Our tent is huge so we should be fine with it fitting in there and the mattress comes with an electric pump thankfully - there is no way I’d inflate it manually. Ain’t nobody got time fo dat.

Fresh coffee is great but don’t worry about storing it for a while too much. Provided it’s in a cool, dark place and it’s in an airtight container, I’ve kept coffee for months without a noticeable drop in quality.

My better 1/2 and I are going camping for the first time in a few weeks. We were just going to pack our air mattress and winter duvet, is this a bad idea? Will sleeping bags actually make that much of a difference?

I have a larger one which I use to keep my usb hard drive, various cables and adaptors and my mouse. I think it’s fantastic. It’s a lot easier to pull that out of my bag than rummage through it.

Right then, time to release it as a VR experience!
