You’d be surprised at how many NASCAR drivers actually have degrees that they earned. You know, by actually going to class. Ryan Newman graduated from Purdue with an engineering degree and he’s not the only one.

Yup. The best engineer on a team is a highly trained, intelligent driver. Knaus wouldn’t be as successful without Johnson’s intelligence behind the wheel. Same for Wolfe and Keselowski. The driver is an integral part of the engineering aspect of the sport

Racing ain’t exactly rocket science. All you’re doing is constantly controlling the loads imparted on a 1-ton mass moving at 200 mph, with inertial transfer against the frame defined in three axes through spring rate and shock dampeners, all to ensure that transient G-loading on the tire carcasses do not adversely

“They only showed him kill that guy on replay” is my favorite comeback of all time now. Find that hill and die on it, buddy.

ew no. what a douchebag.

Why not just go with mons pubis, since there’s a real body part “down there” which uses the mons word and all. Extra points for subtlety.

“The Real Housewives of Mons Olympus”

Hands down, Skyrim. Thanks to the modding community I’ve got over 500 hours in the game putting it far and away the game I’ve played most. Except for maybe Solitaire.

That was actually one of my favorite parts, personally. On my run-throughs I always avoid the main storyline as long as possible, doing as many side-missions as I can. But it's all good. Different strokes, different folks.

Off-hand, my first thought is Skyrim. Although there have been a number of other good ones, as well (the Fallouts, etc).

Phil Simms is a boil on the ass of humanity that will never be healed. It just keep oozing more pus and blood with every squeeze.

I’m confused about what the NFL is hoping to accomplish with this—what could they possibly gain? Michaels doesn’t want to call Thursday night games (regardless of what NBC wants), and Tirico is a MASSIVE improvement over him in every way.

If Tirico would just assault a woman, he’d be broadcasting by the 5th game of the season.

I happen to know a couple of our local meteorologists and I can tell you unreservedly that huffing glue is not out of the question but they mostly go with better drugs mixed with copious amounts of alcohol.

Danke für den mansplaination.

I hope this has been mentioned around here before, and I don’t expect anyone cares, but historically “man” was a gender-neutral term (back in the middle ages the prefixes wer- and wif- specified “male man” or “female man”). This has a legacy in our modern language in the same sort of way that words that came to us

Honestly anything is good compared to the tape delayed nonsense NBC puts on in primetime. The only issue I’ve had with streaming is that sometimes it’s literally just a camera feed on an event, with no commentary and dead air when an event is concluded.

THEY WERE SHOWING WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN AIRING 6 HOURS BEFORE!!

So you’re saying that the voice acting is the Strong point of this game?..

Ouch, why do I do this to myself?

The good news is that the source material, “Eisenhorn” by Dan Abnett, is fantastic.
